Diving Deeper with EFT: From Education to Embodiment
The MCEFT Organising Group warmly invites you to our AGM to be held at the Abbotsford Convent on Saturday 10th August from 9.30am.
Linda Murrow, M.A. MCEFT Co-ordinator, Certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor will lead a free 2.5 hour seminar.
This seminar will build on the ideas and experiences shared in our earlier February workshop with Elana Katz, where Linda will facilitate a further consolidation and deepening of your understanding and practice of EFT. Prior knowledge is not required.
Linda will facilitate an experiential process that helps you more fully embody your work as an EFT therapist. Specifically, we will explore ways to stay connected to our embodied emotional experience as therapists while working with couples.
- Anticipating and validating your own reactivity and coping/survival strategies when in the presence of attachment distress/panic
- Making friends with your emotional experience, trusting your instincts/intuition and utilising this as a resource in offering an attuned, authentic response to your clients
- Learning to ‘have your own back’ to help you remain present
- Being kind to yourself and accepting limits, striving for presence, not perfection
Seminar: 9:30 – 12:00, including morning tea – The Salon at Abbotsford Convent
AGM: 12:15 – 12:45 – The Salon at Abbotsford Convent
Lunch: 1:00 at your own expense – Convent Bakery at Abbotsford Convent
